Do I need to sign up?

No. RoomieMath runs in your browser. There is no account, password, or database of your household on our servers.

What currency does it use?

You enter rent in whatever currency you use (for example GBP). The tool just splits numbers and formats them with your browser’s locale—no forced exchange rates.

Is this legal or financial advice?

No. RoomieMath is a calculator to help you agree on a split. It is not legal, tax, or financial advice. If your tenancy or deposit rules require a specific method, follow those or speak to a qualified professional.

Where is my data stored?

Inputs stay on your device unless you use “Share link,” which copies the state into the URL so others can open the same scenario. We do not require a login. See our Privacy page for details.
